Sharp bends, breaks and faulty connectors will 'leak' the red light which can be seen through 250µm and 900µm buffers (and some simplex/zipcord tight jacket cables)
Constant continuous wave or 2Hz flashing output operation
Suits multimode and singlemode fibres. Powerful 5mW output for up to 10km range
