ETDR-10 Time Domain Reflectometers (TDR)
- The ETDR series are time domain reflectometers for quick and accurate fault location or qualification of copper telecommunication cables
- The ETDR-10A-3 is a single channel TDR for unloaded balanced cables up to 16km
- The ETDR-10A-1 is a dual channel TDR for unloaded balanced cables up to 16km
- The ETDR-10A-2 is a dual channel TDR for unloaded balanced cables up to 16km or loaded cables up to 32km
- The ETDR-10C is a TDR for coaxial telecommunication cables
- All of the instruments are of a small hand portable size for use in the field
- The 'long-time' mode allows measurements to be taken continuously over a period of time in order to locate intermittent faults. The results are overlaid on top of each other allowing a change in the trace (e.g. due to a bad contact) to be easily identified
- Test parameters and test results can be stored in internal memory (10 setups, 10 PVF values, 30 cable parameters, 50 waveforms). Stored waveforms can be recalled and compared with the current waveform. Software is included to allow transfer of test results to a PC via a USB port
- The balanced cable instruments have a 4mm banana socket interface. The coaxial instrument has a BNC interface
- Each instrument includes a rechargeable battery, charger PC software and a soft carrying case
